May 25, 2017

From their humble beginnings in the UK folk scene, Mumford & Sons have become one of the biggest bands in the world. Led by singer Marcus Mumford, their big-hearted, anthemic indie-folk debut was topped by their latest release, 2015's Wilder Mind, which found Marcus and Co. doing a Dylan and plugging in their guitars. The band will actually be criss-crossing The States as an opening act for U2, but they've managed to squeeze in these solo dates as well.

Heading out in support of their latest album, Train are playing an incredible 45 dates (!) on this Play That Song tour. One of modern rock's best known groups, Train's longevity is seriously impressive, though their success isn't that surprising given their ability for crafting one radio-friendly anthem after another, such as 'Drops of Jupiter', 'Meet Virginia' and 'Hey, Soul Sister'.

Headlining this stacked bill are Las Vegas' finest The Killers. Lead by the inimitable Brandon Flowers, The Killers emerged in the early 200os with a slick update of New Wave. Their early singles such as 'Somebody Told Me' and 'All These Things That I've Done' have gone down as indie classics, but the band have evolved their sound since then, taking in everything from heartland rock to synthy euro-pop.
