Why See Lea Michele?
An intimate evening with lea michele
Broadway former prodigy and star of ABC's Glee, Lea Michele is warming up her beautiful vocals for her first tour since 2011, in support of her forthcoming second studio album, Places. Promising to perform material from both her Glee days and the new album, Michele's new output goes back to the singer's roots in theatre, marking a huge difference from her first album, which was more pop-based. A talented soprano, she is also an accomplished author, with her debut novel Brunette Ambition debuting on The New York Times Best Seller list in 2014.
First making her stage debut at the tender age of eight as Young Cosette in Broadway's production of Les Miserables, she is now considered one of the biggest theatre stars in the world, with Idina Menzel and Audra McDonald counted among her peers. For her role as the ambitious Rachel Berry on Glee, she has earned herself a Satellite Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and three consecutive People's Choice Awards.
