Once in a lifetime experience!
Jon Batiste is a gifted musian/performer who emulates hope and joy. His music is wonderfully diverse, from classical, to jazz, dance, and spiritual. Whatever genure, ultimately it is ispirational, and fun. My wife and I had a beautiful experience!
One of a kind
There are just a few that can extend beyond all genres . And his sincerity and true belief in the power of mankind permeates his performance. I think I was lucky to see him in such a small venue. Reminiscent of Prince.

Have always loved his songs, so was disappointed in most of the choices played at his concert. Also, the drum solo by his mentor was monotonous and long, and the duet following it was not appreciated. Overall, i felt like he deliberately threw out a mostly lame performance. Still love his songs, however…came home and played all of his great works!
Modern day Mozart!! Look out world!!!
I was blown away with the concert! Is there an instrument he cannot play?! Loved the drum duet! It is not often at a live concert that the “Live†voice is better than the recording. Pitch perfect! And his energy and smile. Wow!! Had goose bumps from beginning to end. Cannot wait to watch his journey unfold.. He has just begun!!!
Eclectic sounds...is that a thing?
Jon came and did just what he said he would do. He invited us into his space and feelings. For those expecting a typical traditional concert, this was not the performance. I loved the performance and the atmosphere. It was a night for families, friends or dates. And, the acoustics were great. Thank you for inviting us into your space, Jon!

It was amazing.. besides singing and dancing he played every instrument on the stage from the Sax to a mouth organ. He had the audience singing different songs including if you’re happy and you know it, you are my sunshine. At the closing he brought out an acoustic group and wandered through the audience even up into the balcony as we sang along to a short meditative tune he had taught us. And I thought I had skipped choir😉 and he played some Beethoven
