You do not want to miss Philadelphia Opera’s Simon Boccanegra by Verdi. This is a satisfying musical experience and it’s live! The internationally acclaimed singers, Quinn Kelsey as Boccanegra and Christian VanHorn as Fiesco are wonderful in their roles. They sing fabulously together. This opera is filled with passion, drama, suspense, tenderness, reconciliation and death. The orchestral score alone is so beautiful you can close your eyes and just listen to Verdi’s composition. There are super titles in English as well. Gorgeous production!
