Pennsylvania Ballet: Carmina Burana
Part of the 50th Anniversary season!
Why see Pennsylvania Ballet: Carmina Burana?
The famed Pennsylvania Ballet presents Carmina Burana - a special presentation as part of its 50th Anniversary Season. Although the work has been a signature part of the company's repertoire since the 1960s, it still retains the same contemporary feel today as it did in its earlier years.
Carmina Burana is made even more memorable by being performed alongside a live chorus made up of the Philadelphia Singers and ChildrenSong, New Jersey.
The production will open with the Pennsylvania Ballet premiere of Balanchine's Stravinsky Violin Concerto - a bold black-and-white ballet from one of the world's favorite choreographer-composer pairings.
