What is the story?
Drawing its roots from Eastern European folklore, Swan Lake tells the story of the tragic Princess Odette. Cursed by the evil Sorceror Rothbart to spend her days as a swan, she can only escape if she wins the love of one who has never loved before. Enter the dashing Prince Siegfried, himself tasked with finding a bride before the following evening. Together, the pair gear up to defeat Rothbart and win the day for true love.

This production of Swan Lake was absolutely gorgeous! I agree with Kathy; I've never seen such talented
dancers. It was perfection. Each scene was visually breathtaking. And the PA Ballet Orchestra's performance
was top notch. I loved everything about this ballet.
We had lunch beforehand at Estia on Locust St. and I highly recommend this restaurant.
