Acclaimed conductor Nathalie Stutzmann returns to The Philadelphia Orchestra in 2019 to lead the charge with three exquisite works from two great masters Haydn and Beethoven. With Benjamin Grosvenor (Gramophone's Young Artist Award Winner) at the piano keys, you are in for one special experience!
Featuring in the programme will be Hadyn's jaunty and surprising Symphony No. 94 followed by Beethoven's, Haydn's protegee, Piano Concerto No. 1 where it will be Grosvenor's time to shine with the intricate and complicated note arrangements. Rounding off the evening will be Beethoven's sunny and cheerful Symphony No. 4.
