In fact, it was his fourth studio album, with his first (A Century Ends) released five years earlierand self-financed! The rest, of course, is history, with Gray racking up over 12 million album sales in his career. He now lives in the upscale London suburb of Hampstead, a testament to not giving up on your dreams.

Great Show
Not sure what the reviewer above means, David came out at 8:10 and played 9 songs and then took a break and played the entire White Ladder album (to which most of the time the crowd was standing and singing along.
He then covered Soft Cell's Tainted love, two songs from Bowie and brought it back home with the ending of Please Forgive me. Crowd went nuts.
Came back for two songs on the encore.

Great!
It was non-stop fabulous. He had a few parts that had a bit of a lull, but that fit in. Overall, he performed amazingly. His talent from so many decades just grows.
He shared of himself with the audience. He opened up to being vulnerable. His new stuff was great mixed in with so many classics.
I forgot how much I love this guy.

Fantastic performance and production. Mr. Gray has an amazing voice and engaging relationship with his band and directly with the audience. He sang his heart out and the Chicago audience responded with enthusiasm, shouts out, applause and singing along.
