Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra - Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets

Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra - Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets at Mann Center For The Performing Arts

Why see Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra - Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets?

The second concert comes to the Mann Center!

Grab your magic wands, cloaks and spectacles this July, for a very special evening at the Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra! Ludwig Wicki conducts a truly magical concert featuring John Williams' fantastical score for the second Harry Potter movie, as part of the Harry Potter Film Concert Series! As the movie plays on a high-definition ,40-foot screen featuring flying cars, giant spiders and massive serpents, the Orchestra plays the score in full, and in time with the film. Presented by J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World Of Harry Potter, this concert series kicked off in July 2016, and is set to conquer the world over the next few years!

Stripped from the original film, Williams' soundtrack has been specially arranged for orchestras worldwide, where it is set to be performed across 35 countries. The world's love for all things Potter is doing anything but calming down, with an Olivier Award-winning stage show that's headed to Broadway, and a new series of "Fantastic Beasts" movies starring Eddie Redmayne! The Film Concert series is a "fantastical" way to introduce the kids to the delights of classical music, as they enjoy watching the biggest film franchise in the world!
