Howard Shore's magnificent Academy Award-winning score will performed alongside a special screening i of Peter Jackson's The Return Of The King, conducted by Ludwig Wicki. Joined by the Philadelphia Orchestra as well as haunting vocals provided by the Philadelphia Boys' Choir, the final installment of the movie trilogy will conclude with Frodo finally reaching Mount Doom, and Aragorn battling for the crown of Gondor against the Dark Army, in what is cinema's most spectacular battle scenes! Fall in love all over again with this enchanting movie as it is played in high definition above the orchestra.

Stripped from the original recording, the specially arranged score will be performed live on stage in tune with the movie. In 2015, the Orchestra performed the first movie in Peter Jackson's epic trilogy in concert to rave reviews. The first of the epic adventure across Middle Earth, The Fellowship of the Ring had introduced us to the Hobbits of the Shire, the Elves of Rivendell and the men of Gondor. This was followed in summer 2016 by The Two Towers in concert
