the best concert I have been to

I have been listening to Bon iver for a few years now, and when I heard he was going to Toronto I knew I had to go. The lights were very cool and he had a different pattern of lights for each song which I really enjoyed. The sound was very well done. It was honestly an amazing concert if you are a big fan I definitely recommend going you will not be disappointed. ... Read more

What? Did I see the same concert?

I've seen Bon Iver twice before and as like the two past shows I was completely hypnotized. They went on stage at 9pm and I had to leave by 10:20 because of early work schedule the next day. They had 4 songs left in the set when I left. The concert was absolutely amazing. A fantastic set list. They sounded amazing! I don't get all the complaints? It was a great night of fabulous music! ... Read more

I love him but

The show it was only him in the middle of the stage and kind of what I expect, based on the album for Emma Forever Ago recorded in a cabin. But when looking at all the other video or stills of what he had been doing during the tour at previous shows it looked like full production blue lights people on stage. This was an absolutely pared-down raw Justin Vernon alone, so it surprised me. I still give it 5 stars because I absolutely adore him this music is amazing and he's totally tuned in and he's amazing but how it went from an absolute blowout to seeing him by himself was a little bit of a let down. I mean at this point the man has how many albums 7 that right and he's won a Grammy and I absolutely appreciate seeing him in a small venue still. I just surprised that it seems as though the rest of the band had just left him on his own to his own devices. Which are absolutely more than sufficient. Thank you Sir that was an amazing show, despite the Fanfare I guess. ... Read more
